A PHOTO
Damien Jurado is headed to Sweden come sunday. Since 2003 when I first brought him to the Scandinavian shores on what was my first ever tour as a promoter/booking agent; he’s always been here in the darkest parts of fall. Always. It’s almost been poetic - first snow, then week after: Damien arrives. Be it late October or late November; It starts snowing as soon as he’s headed here. I really really hope this is not the case this time, that Sweden will boast it’s grandest shining spring light. Not just that it’ll be brighter and warmer here, from the reports of it - Damien is better than ever (that’s saying A LOT) and the shows in Denmark/Norway have so far been sold out. So jump on getting a ticket if you’re in the area.
Swedish dates:17/4 Pusterviksbaren | Goteburg (SE)19/4 Sodra Teatern | Stockholm (SE)20/4 Debaser | Malmo (SE)
